Challenger Tournaments

Challenger Tournament is a PvP event that provides a way to see who the best players may be on the server. In order to participate you will need to register (VIP3+ will be auto registered) and you will be given the option to place your top 10 best digimons. Each digimon will then face off against a random opponent’s digimon in a 1v1. If you reach a total of 3 loses from the 10 matches you’ll be disqualified. At the end of the 10 matches the top 8 players will be able to fight off in the quarter and semi final match to see who takes first place. The quarter and semi final matches switches from a 1v1 format to a 3v3 format. Keep in minds digimons can only be used once in the pre-final stages and top 8 competition.

Here is an example of the digimon I used when I wrote this guide. To help increase your odds at winning challenger make sure you are online during the event. Each match you will be able to switch around your digimon against the opponent, so you can give yourself the edge each round. Focus on digimon who excels at 1v1 (mostly single target damage digimon) which will benefit you greatly

You will earn a win when your digimon defeats an opponent in a 1v1 or if they have the most health after a set amount of rounds in the 1v1 match. BP is an important factor but the digimon’s skills are as well. Sometimes weaker BP digimon can beat stronger due to skills alone. There are many factors that can change the tide of battles.

During registration time you will be given the opportunity to bet on who you think will win and earn gold. The maximum reward you can earn is 1mil.

Here is some information on your returns based off the multipliers of people you can bet on. Keep in mind the maximum bet you can earn is 1mil and the multiplier can change throughout the day, so it’s better to bet within the last hour before the tournament begins (betting closes 10 min prior to the start, so make sure you don’t forget)!

60k Bet (Small bet) - Needs at least 16.66 multiplier to earn 1mil back.

Total profit: 940k

200k Bet (Large bet) - Need at least 5.00 multiplier to earn 1mil back.

Total profit: 800k

For anything between 5.00 to 16.66 multipliers, the only time 200k and 60k bets will return the same profit is at 14.33 multiplier.

Anything above 14.33 multplier, bet 60k for the most profit.

Anything below 14.33 multiplier, bet 200k for the most profit.

At the end of the tournament you will receive a Gold chest for each win, and a Silver chest for each loss. Each chest has a chance to provide many items, digivice/ring awaken items and medals. The medals can be exchanged for Gaogamon or Aquilamon, both are really good so look towards investing into either one.
